Australian audit firm goes global with its first North American hires

AssuranceLab, an Australian compliance audit firm, extends its global reach having hired three more staff to the North American team.

The three new consultants join the growing North American team, spearheaded by Nicholas Lew Ton, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, who moved to the area in early 2023 to establish and grow the company’s presence in this location.

Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Paul Wenham said, “When Nick moved to North America to start our hub there, the goal was to have five new clients.”

“This was achieved much faster than anticipated, with us gaining 100 clients in the first four months,” he said.

With the rapid growth the compliance auditing space is experiencing in North America, AssuranceLab needed to expand its team and keep up with demand.

When asked about the opportunities this milestone brings, Nicholas Lew Ton said, “These new hires mark an exciting time for AssuranceLab.”

“Not only are we growing globally as a company, but the North American-specific hiring means we have the opportunity and resources to continue to scale our customer base here,” he said.

Looking ahead to the future for AssuranceLab, Paul shared his vision and goals for the expanding team.

“This next phase is about building a strong local team and presence that can scale rapidly with our growth there,” he said.

When asked about the future, Nick said, “I am excited to work with and continue to grow the North American team and expand into other regions.”

This is just the beginning for AssuranceLab, with more milestones on the horizon for 2024 – including expanding into the EMEA with our new Vice President coming on board in March,” he said.
